The t2s.org overhaul in April of this year involved more than just a new look and feel
it presented a new branding and identity for our online image. A cleaner, more modern
logotype was introduced as well as a theme incorporating the mystical depths of the ocean.

Style Conventions |
|
Prior to the redesign, the typical way to display the Technology Transfer Society abbreviation
was to use a capital 'T', superscript '2' and a capital 'S', like in the example: T2S.
The problem with this style, as evident in the example, is that the raised '2' becomes distracting
to the flow of the paragraph, disturbs the natural layout of the text, and is annoying to code. |
|
As a result, the new suggestion is that the Technology Transfer Society should be referred to
as the 'T2S' simple and technically incorrect, but much easier to say and read. Note: The T2S
should not be referred to as the 'TTS'. |

Use of the Logotype |
|
|
While we don't prohibit members, publishers and industry leaders from using our logotype,
we do request that anyone interested in utilizing our unique logotype consult us prior to
use. The reason, as is common throughout the industry, is that we wish to keep "the look"
consistent throughout the Internet and printed publications. |
|
|
High-quality versions of the T2S logotype are available for use in numerous formats such
as GIF, JPG, TIFF and EPS. Contact the webmaster at sterni@usc.edu
for more information and use guidelines. |

|
Note: Anyone caught using the T2S logotype in a manner contradictory to the design guidelines
or the bylaws of this organization will be asked to discontinue use immediately. |
