Welcome to the Technology
Transfer Society (T2S), a non-profit organization devoted to the
interdisciplinary scholarly analysis of technology transfer and the
dissemination of best practices in technology transfer from universities
and federal labs to firms (and vice-versa). The Society sponsors the Journal of Technology
Transfer, the only international journal devoted to the
managerial and policy implications of technology transfer. As President, it is my privilege to
announce the 2006 International T2S Meetings, which will be held at the Georgia
Tech Hotel and Conference Center in Atlanta, GA.
The meetings will
begin with a reception on Wednesday evening September 27, 2006 and conclude
at lunch time on Friday September 29, 2006. The 2006 T2S Meetings will be
co-sponsored and hosted by the School
of Public Policy at
the Georgia Institute of Technology. The co-organizers are Professor
Monica Gaughan of the University
of Georgia, Professor
Phil Shapira of Georgia Tech, and Martha Schoonmaker of the Georgia Tech
Enterprise Innovation Institute. Our theme this year is "Next
Generation Innovation: New Approaches and Policy Designs." The
meetings will begin with a reception on Wednesday evening September 27,
2006 and conclude by lunch on Friday September 29, 2006. The final program will be available
shortly on this web site and the web site the conference. We look forward to seeing you at the
2006 T2S Meetings.
Sincerely,
Donald Siegel
